Reclaim Time, Sanity, and Confidence with
A Community for Implementing Natural Learning
90-Minute School Day in the Life is your home base, your safe space for support, to network, be coached, resource yourself, and share with others.
Our unique approach uses what you already have: your family’s individual needs and strengths. We pair trainings, conversations, community, and a library of resources to cultivate and support you in your homeschool.
Experience being seen, heard, and understood in one of our asynchronous community video chat small or topical groups, weekly live meeting, and community boards. Grow meaningful friendships in the margin you do have in your daily life.
You have exclusive access to weekly programs, a resource library with recordings, templates, and planning documents, asynchronous office hours with Kelly, guest experts, and community small groups and discussion areas to resource your daily homeschool life.
Also: sneek peeks into each other’s homeschools as we share regular DITL snapshots into our families’ learning lives.
Opportunities for self-reflection, leadership, mentorship, self-compassion and healing in a safe, judgement-free zone of deep understanding.
I’m thrilled that you’re considering joining us on this incredible journey of natural learning and connection. As a homeschooling parent of neurodiverse kids with developmental trauma, I know how challenging and rewarding this path can be. That’s why I created 90MSDITL – to support, share and connect families like yours.
Imagine a homeschooling experience where learning happens naturally, seamlessly woven into your daily life and adventures. School resistance is a thing of the past. This is what we’re all about – reclaiming time, sanity, confidence, and forging deep connections and relationships with our kids and with each other through natural, self-led learning.
Our community is a place where you’ll find like-minded families who understand your journey, share your values, and celebrate your unique homeschooling path. Together, we’ll explore, learn, and grow, creating unforgettable memories and lasting friendships.
Homeschooling is an individual sport comprised of individual families. It can be isolating at times when you can’t find ‘your people.’ It’s then our confidence gets shaky and the comparison game can grab the controls.
Community is homeschooling as a team sport. The DITL team has each of us as individual families working toward the same goals of relationship, mental health and wellness and a learning journey as unique as the learners.
We can’t wait to meet you and walk alongside you in this adventure of learning at home with our children.
Warmly,
Kelly Edwards and the DITL Community Members
You know homeschooling is the right choice for your child right now AND you know the school-at-home approach isn’t, but you really don’t know what else to do and don’t want your child to be on screens all day.
You have a neurodivergent learner, a child with special needs, a child with big behaviors or trauma and need a philosophy that meets them where they are at but also facilitates learning without adding to your plate.
You’re feeling like you’re a failure more days than you’d like to admit and don’t have someone to turn to who “gets it.”
You’re excited about the potential of homeschooling but have your own hang ups from your own education and feel that you’re not enough and are worried about not doing enough with them.
You compensate for lacking confidence with lots of research but are overwhelmed with decision fatigue with all that is out there on homeschooling.
You are tired of buying curriculum and not using it.
No, this is for new to homeschooling, veteran homeschoolers, or anywhere in-between. Each of us has expertise in areas others need. We are a vibrant ecosystem of leadership and knowledge across all members. We can’t wait to add your strengths to the mix!
When you’re ready! Our doors are always open. This community is a resource that we feel strongly should be available to you when you need it most.
Each live offering is recorded and posted to the growing resource library. You can then watch the replay at a time that works for you.
$30 a month or a single payment of $300 a year.
Cancel anytime, you will remain a member for the remainder of your billing month. We’ve loved having you and will miss you when you go. We understand life changes. You’re always welcome back!
This is training, resourcing and community for the home educating parent so children being educated from ages 0-adulthood fall into the trainings and discussions.
The 90-Minute School Day approach is crafted with neurodiversity and developmental trauma in mind. That said, neurodiversity is a landscape that includes neurotypical individuals.
To illustrate this, when the American Disability Act paved the way for sidewalk cut outs, the original intention was to grant easier access to the physically disabled. However, these cut outs are used the most by parents and strollers, the abled and disabled benefitted from this accomodation. Likewise, when we make learning more accessible for neurodiversity, the neurotypical population benefits as well.
Yes, this community is a no-stress, no-pressure zone. It is a safe space. Our lives and circumstances are fluid with change. Opting-in and opting-out is something we honor. You know what’s best for you and we honor that!
Yes, all prior content is uploaded and available in the resource library! It’s a smorgasboard of topics for you to explore at your leisure.
